12-Hour Alcohol Education ProgramOur state-approved 12-hour Alcohol Education Program (AEP) consists of classes for those who are first-time offenders and have a mild to moderate history of alcohol use.

This program satisfies the legal and MVA requirements for an AEP. Courts and the MVA typically require an AEP program following a first arrest for DUI.

The program combines group discussions, lectures, and presentations, and is offered virtually, either through our Operation Breakthrough Weekend Program or a 6-week program. Our curriculum covers Maryland laws, serving sizes, how to avoid high-risk situations, and unhealthy behaviors.

Weekend 12-Hour Alcohol Education ProgramOperation Breakthrough, Columbia Treatment Center. An Early Intervention treatment Program and DUI Education protocol offered in a convenient weekend format. Our non-judgmental approach helps move people toward reducing high-risk behaviors and making a personal commitment to change.
