School bus drivers test positive for THC at alarming rates on pre-employment, random, and for-cause tests, often due to unregulated CBD products of an unvalidated potency.
This is especially true in states, such as Maryland, that allow for the use of medical or recreational marijuana. However, many drivers buy CBD products thinking they are safe, even if they know to avoid marijuana. There is no agency that validates what goes into CBD oil, or other products, how they are made, their wholesomeness, or whether they contain impurities. Users of CBD should beware, as many unregulated CBD products still contain THC.
